Chef Marcus Samuelsson of Red Rooster Harlem approached us for help getting into the tea business. Solid Brands performed a financial analysis to clarify the capital requirements and return on investment of different approaches. After reviewing the client\'s objectives and capabilities, we guided the client to a licensing model. We identified suitable trading partners, prepared and presented a proposal, and negotiated a license. Then the real work began! We fleshed out the product selection, guided production of packaging, supervised the product launch, prepared marketing materials, made key sales calls, and continue to manage the license relationship.
